In our production plant, at the initial stage of construction or upon request, we prepare the necessary sets of steel structures. We also produce trusses to order. These are basic steel structural elements used to construct buildings designed based on a steel frame. In particular in steel roof structures, but also as girders, poles, towers and masts.
Solid structural profiles supplied by steelworks and metal plants, rolling mills, such as angles, T-sections, C-sections, sheets, rods, pipes, are not sufficient to construct building frame columns, girders or spans. For many decades, the so-called trusses.
For many years, construction, and especially in the construction of steel halls, has been looking for construction solutions that can replace heavy and expensive metallurgical elements such as T-sections or C-sections with large cross-sections. Elements of load-bearing structures supporting the roof, forming the frame of steel structures. Therefore, trusses are used in this case. These rigid steel structures, in the form of a grid, have been used for centuries, and gained particular importance in the times of steel construction. The truss is usually constructed of steel bars welded at pin joints where the main mechanical loads are applied. There are two main types of roof trusses: flat trusses and spatial trusses.
Flat trusses only transfer loads acting in one plane. This type of prefabricated elements are used as structural elements of roofs, as steel beams and joists, steel girders, and steel roof purlins. A truss in which the bars do not lie in one plane is a spatial truss. There are four main truss elements: the upper chord, the lower chord, the vertical posts and the diagonal struts.
Types of trusses produced:
- 3D spatial trusses;
- trusses made of round pipes;
- trusses made of rectangular or square tubes;
- trusses made of standard profiles.
Span range:
From 3 m to 18 m. It is possible to introduce an additional screw connection (contact
assembly), to avoid oversized transport.
